We will begin our tour by discovering the Garbatella district, born a century ago to host a lower middle class and today considered one of the most coveted in the city. An architecture defined as eclectic with elements of the so-called “Roman baroque” or “rational-futuristic”. An almost fairytale neighborhood, embellished in recent years by colorful and significant Murals, an avant-garde art now scattered all over the world. We will continue our itinerary to discover an adjacent neighborhood, the Tor Marancia district, famous for hosting a real open-air museum, with 22 murals made by international artists. A museum born in just 70 days of work, to restore life and color to one of the districts of Rome. It is truly turning out to be a unique project in the world not only of urban redevelopment but also of social change, through art!
